All vetting of security staff is carried out by a sister company within the Grosvenor Services Group. Grosvenor Legal Services are a leading supplier of financial and referencing information to major banks, building societies and financial institutions in the United Kingdom. Grosvenor Legal Services are Licensed under the Consumer Credit Act and the Data Protection Registrar for the supply of such information.
The use of a third party company for vetting purposes ensures that candidates are only accepted after being ‘positively vetted’.

Internal vetting of candidates often leads to a reduction of standards to ensure that recruitment levels are sufficient. This is not the case with Grosvenor Security.

This vetting procedure is designed around the positive vetting system adopted by the military, which exceeds the levels stipulated by the B.S.I.A. Rest assured that any Security Officer working for Grosvenor Security does not have criminal convictions (subject to the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). These assurances also extend to the financial stability of employees and their work history and qualifications.
